Abstract [en]

My research project is based around the use of context. Finding new methods in formulating and presenting artistic expression, addressing power structures, identity and collective memory, in a post colonial context. I'm interested in the dialogue between the author and its audience and how the use of context plays a big part in that communication. Redirecting the narrative, seen through a third world/post-colonial perspective. Through the arts, taking ownership, in a social context, to the physical space it may operate in. What values can we demand from the producer of content and what values can we expect from its audience?
