Min kollega, AI Copilot?: Hur är AI som verktyg för mig som producent inom scenkonst? När kan AI hjälpa mig i mitt arbete som producent?

Abstract [en]

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI), with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, can function as a tool in project management within a performing arts context. The aim is to explore how AI can support tasks such as planning, documentation, budgeting, and communication, while also reflecting on its impact on the artistic process and the role of the producer.

The study is based on practical experiences from a production process and participation in AI-related workshops. By applying Copilot in tasks such as structuring meeting notes, analyzing schedules, and generating communication material, its effectiveness was evaluated.

The results indicate that AI can significantly improve efficiency in administrative and text-based tasks, allowing more time for leadership and creative engagement. However, AI cannot replace human judgment, creativity, and collaboration. The findings highlight the importance of critical and ethical awareness, particularly regarding bias, authorship, and sustainability, when integrating AI into professional practice.
