Confidence, courage and playing god: How to interpret a god on stage
Stockholm University of the Arts, Opera.
2026 (English)Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (One Year)), 20 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

This assignment is a reflection on my process and final presentation of my masters project. I chose to do a scenic concert, that centered around performing excerpts of three different roles from Richard Wagner’s opera ‘’Die Walküre’1’, trying to answer the question: How do you interpret a god onstage? But this is also a reflection on my personal artistry, vocal development, personal frustrations and having the courage to end your concert prematurely in front of your whole school, friends, family and three royal opera singers.
